Funded Childcare at Growing Minds

​

At Growing Minds we are delighted to offer government-funded childcare places for eligible children. Our funded sessions are structured as follows:

• 8:30am – 4:00pm — 7.5 funded hours per day

• 7:30am – 5:30pm — 10 funded hours per day

Additional wrap around hours are available at £6.65 per hour for families who require a longer day outside of their funded session.

Funded hours may be taken over 38 weeks of the year (term time) or stretched over 51 weeks of the year for families who prefer a more consistent pattern of hours throughout the year, including during school holidays.

Additional costs apply for Meals & Snacks. The meals & consumables charge is full day £8 or half day £4.55. Healthy packed meals can be brought to nursery. 

​

Please note: Families who choose the stretched funding option are asked to be aware that changes to funding arrangements — including transferring hours to another setting or amending the number of hours taken — cannot be made mid-term. Any changes must be requested at the end of a term and will take effect from the start of the following term. This is in line with guidance from Calderdale Council's funding team.
